Up to 11 blue flag beaches stand out:San Xurxo, Covas and Doniños in Ferrol; A Frouxeira, O Rodo (Pantín), O Baleo, Villarrube and Playa del Río (Meirás) in Valdoviño; and Morouzos and A Concha (Espasante) in Ortigueira.
